Aquarius Platinum

Aquarius Platinum Limited was a Perth-based, ASX-listed company which engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of platinum group metal projects in South Africa and Zimbabwe. The company primarily explored for platinum, palladium, rhodium, and gold deposits. Its principal property included the Kroondal platinum mine located on the western limb of the Bushveld Complex, near Rustenburg, in North West province in South Africa. In October 2015 South African company Sibanye Gold launched a takeover of Aquarius, which completed in April 2016.
