Vonex’s core cloud-based private automatic branch exchange, or “PABX”, telephony business continues to go from strength to strength with the ASX-listed telco now counting a milestone 30,000 registered active users on its books.
This represents a 25% increase in the last 12 months and demonstrates the company’s progress in penetrating the multi-billion dollar Australian market for telco services to small and medium enterprises.
The company also recorded new customer sales value of more than $1.3 million in the June 2019 quarter, which represents a 44% increase from the previous quarter.
Additionally, Vonex reported 26% growth in orders made through its Sign on Glass software for channel partner sales during the June quarter compared to the previous quarter.
The company’s marketing efforts have also paid off with a 16% jump in unique visitors to its website over the previous quarter.
Managing Director Matt Fahey said: “We’re really pleased with the progress that we’ve made through the June quarter as we continue to show significant improvement across our key metrics. Achieving 30,000 active PBX users means we have grown our active database by 25% over the past 12 months.”
“We expect to build on this momentum through FY20 and beyond as the QBR partnership is launched and as the NBN rollout schedule approaches its peak, leading to continued growth in active users and contracted revenue.”
Last month, the company formed a partnership with Qantas Business Rewards, or “QBR”, that will allow QBR’s 250,000 small and medium enterprise members to earn Qantas Points when they spend money on the company’s products and services from August this year.
This is expected to increase Vonex’s brand recognition and further drive sales growth.
