Victor Cheng
Dr Victor Cheng was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2001. He obtained his Masters of Business Administration in 2006 at the University of Western Australia. Dr Cheng provides medico legal opinions in general psychological conditions, mainly in the
areas of work related stress claims, post traumatic stress disorder and major depressive disorders. His clinical experience includes adolescent and adult general psychiatry. Dr Cheng was the Medical Lead for GP Liaison services whilst working at Bentley Health Service, and the Clinical Lead (2008 – 2009) for the Award winning Commonwealth Seclusion and Restraint Reduction project. He also is an FANZCP examiner, a member of the subcommittee for Advanced Training in Adult Psychiatry, Clinical Lecturer UWA – Medical student teaching and Lecturer to RANZCP for the advanced trainee program which includes intensive examination preparation. Dr Cheng is the Executive Director of Medical Services at Sir Charles Gairdner Group where he regularly manages grievances, stress claims and formal disciplinary proceedings which can include medical staff.
