Fabio Marques is a geologist with more than 33 years of experience in the mineral sector, spanning exploration, development and production roles. His operational experience includes advancing from mine geologist to head of planning and head of mining operation & crushing over 13 years at Kinross Gold’s Paracatu, the largest open pit gold mine in Brazil. Mr Marques has also worked in senior health and safety roles for Rio Tinto Desenvolvimentos Minerais. He is a Brazilian national who resides in Brazil and speaks fluent Portuguese, intermediate English and Spanish.
