Founded in 1991 by Roland Tyson and later co-led with his partner, Penny Sanderson, who joined the business in the mid-90s, Sea to Summit became majority owned by private equity player Five V Capital in 2022. It sells products in over 73 countries with offices in Australia, the US, Germany, and China.
Sea to Summit also supplies the Australian defence industry.
