Australian British Food Holdings is a food manufacturer based in Bibra Lake which includes brands such as The British Sausage Company. The British Sausage Company makes over 30 different varieties of sausages, ham and bacon products.
The business was started in 1991 by newly arrived British immigrant Mick Ferrero,a third generation butcher by trade. The business has other brands, such as Peppercorn Food Co, a business started on the east coast by another butcher in the late 1990s.
The group owns approximately 1.3ha of industrial at Bibra Lake where its main manufacturing facility was established. In 2021 it acquired agribusinesses on the supply side, such as Margaret River Venison, a 120-hectare farm and tourist attraction at Cowaramup for which it paid $5.75m, and Hamlet Pork, a producer of high-quality Berkshire pigs.
