West Australian company, Vertech Group, has today completed an agreement to acquire MMA Offshore’s Asset Integrity Division.
Beginning in 2008 as a small WA based company, over the last twelve years Vertech has grown into an international organisation that provides inspection, testing, specialist access and maintenance services to major operators in the marine, resources, energy and defence sectors.
The acquisition of MMA Offshore’s Asset Integrity Division will further grow the size of their West Australian workforce and diversify the asset inspection offerings that Vertech Group can provide to their customers. Vertech Group will integrate MMA’s Asset Integrity staff & assets into its existing Osborne Park based head office, allowing them to collaborate with the UAV, RDVI and Marine Class divisions as well as its advanced NDT sister company, Sonomatic.
The completion of the deal also marks the beginning of an ongoing relationship between Vertech Group and MMA Offshore, who under newly concluded service agreements will work together on future joint projects.
2020 has seen the Vertech Group achieve many major milestones in the marine sector. Early this year, Vertech became the first Australian organisation to acquire the Lloyd’s Register UAV Inspection Accreditation, and last week its sister companies, Geo Oceans and Sonomatic, were nominated for five major awards at the upcoming 2020 Australian Subsea Business Awards.
