Track’em wins Primero contract

Perth technology company Track'em has secured a new contract with Primero Group, which will use its cloud-based tracking technology for a major iron ore project in Western Australia.

Primero will use Track'em’s Material Tracking Solution to increase the visibility and control over materials required to complete construction works on the project.

Track'em says that by using the system, Primero and its project partners will be able to monitor, update and report on materials in real-time from any location.

Track'em founder and chief executive Kashif Saleem said the technology promoted efficiency and reduced the risk of losing expensive materials with long lead times.

“Track'em will allow Primero to take ownership of the materials control processes to streamline operations,” he said.

Primero Group general manager Mark Pensabene said the company always preferred to engage with local partners.

“We looked at WA-based Track'em and were very impressed,” he said.

“It’s the most sophisticated materials tracking platform that we’ve ever come across, yet it is surprisingly simple to use.

“It will equip workers throughout the supply chain – from our fabricators to site – to use a single system giving us end-to-end visibility.”

Track'em had also recently signed contracts with Monadelphous and NSW-based Downer, which are both using the company’s tracking technology on projects in WA.
