Fremantle business and community leaders gathered at the iconic PSA ART SPACE last night to celebrate the achievements and resilience of businesses within our region.
It is 35 years since the whos who of the global yachting establishment, politicians and celebrities gathered for a ball in February 1987 at the infamous America’s Cup Ball at the Fremantle Woolstores.
This year’s awards night, on the eve of the Fremantle Chamber’s 150th Anniversary year, celebrated all of the wonderful and eclectic parts of our business and leaders’ stories. It brought to life the collective strength of our leaders and showed their commitment to the region’s future.
Fremantle Chamber CEO Danicia Quinlan said “We are so lucky to do business in this part of the world and there has never been a more rewarding time to do business here.
This year, we received a record 57 nominees for our 2022 Fremantle Business Awards and some of the tightest judges scores we have ever seen – in most instances only a few points separated our winners from our finalists.
Even more remarkably, a total of 4,296 members of the Fremantle Community went online to vote in the People’s Choice Awards. This is double the number of votes received from last year. This incredible display of support is such strong evidence of brand loyalty and shows just how intertwined business and community is in this region.
All of the winners in this year’s awards have shown resilience, flair and passion to deliver across an every changing set of circumstances.
It is an extraordinary list and a Winners Circle that are well worth taking the time to celebrate and reward. The future does indeed look bright”.
