O’Sullivan Partners to merge with Panetta McGrath Lawyers

All four staff members at Subiaco-based firm O’Sullivan Partners will join the ranks at Panetta McGrath Lawyers when the firms merge in April.   

The merger means Panetta McGrath Lawyers will have 28 staff, 18 of whom will be legal professionals.

Founded in 2002, O'Sullivan Partners is led by Colin O'Sullivan and Leanne Bishop, who are leading defendant motor vehicle and personal injury lawyers.

O'Sullivan Partners is a small firm with three legal practitioners, ranked as the 110th largest law firm on Business News’s Data & Insights.

Panetta McGrath Lawyers, ranked as the 53rd largest firm, was established in 2009 and has health and aged care law, insurance law and employment, and workplace relations practices.

Panetta McGrath Lawyers director Enore Panetta said the expertise in insurance and motor vehicle matters at O'Sullivan Partners would complement Panetta McGrath's existing practices and strengthen its service offering to clients. 

“Colin and Leanne share a similar culture and philosophy to our own and we look forward to welcoming them to the team,” Mr Panetta said.

Mr O'Sullivan said he was looking forward to adding to Panetta McGrath Laywers’ offering.

“Panetta McGrath’s culture and approach to legal practice closely aligns with our own and our team is excited by the opportunities the merger presents,” he said.

After the merger, Panetta McGrath Lawyers will be ranked as the 45th largest law firm in the state.
