On the 18th of May, 2023, The Craig Mostyn Group (CMG) celebrates its 100th anniversary, marking a century of excellence in agribusiness in Australia. As one of the largest agribusinesses in Western Australia, we have a long-standing commitment to providing the best products and
produce to customers worldwide.
Throughout our 100-year history, CMG has demonstrated resilience in the face of uncertainty and challenges, including the Great Depression, World Wars, and financial downturns diversifying its product range, expanding into new markets, and implementing modern technologies to
improve efficiency. This legacy began with our founders, who set the benchmark to create a bold, progressive company that is innovative, dynamic and at the forefront of business opportunities, using true entrepreneurial spirit to pivot into a range of operations such as selling hides and bark, skins and wool, tallow and leather, tinning fruit and even seafood.
Today, we carry on this legacy through our diverse operations, which include farming as well as the production of pork, beef, lamb, abalone, protein meal, and tallow. We supply these products to our food service, retail, and wholesale clients, while constantly striving to find
new and innovative packaging solutions that are environmentally sustainable.
Despite the challenging economic climate marked by the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, labour shortages, geopolitical conflicts, inflation, and the transition to lower greenhouse-emitting power sources, our board and management team are unwavering in their
commitment to ensuring that CMG responds effectively to these challenges and sustains its competitive edge.
