Yakov Temov is an engineering executive who specialises in product development and commercialisation.
Mr Temov was a founding partner of ConnectedIO and led the engineering team that developed the company’s first product for Verizon. In December 2020, he resigned as managing director of Connected IO but remains a director of CIO Technology Inc, the company’s wholly-owned US subsidiary, in order to focus on running its US-based operations.
Mr Temov was previously vice president of engineering at U4EA Technologies.

Perth based Connected IO has added another blue-chip client to its expanding US customer base securing a $100,000 purchase order from a leading US wireless solutions provider. The order strengthens the company's growing revenues and adds to its already impressive customer base that includes Coca-Cola, US telcos Verizon and AT&T, Vodafone and The Red Cross.
ASX-listed Connected IO continues to blaze a trail in the burgeoning “internet of things” global market with the launch of a new wireless modem device designed to take advantage of the latest low latency broadband cellular network known as “Cat 1”. Cat 1 has been built by major mobile service companies around the world to provide an optimized, cost effective network specifically for the internet of things.
ASX listed Connected IO continues to forge ahead in the multi-trillion dollar internet of things sector, securing a purchase order from US electronics giant Arrow Electronics for its cutting-edge wireless modem devices. The order will see the company’s products available through Arrow’s 465 offices across 90 countries.
Perth listed Connected IO continues to cement its relationship with US telco Verizon. The company announced this week the securing of new purchase orders for its “internet of things” services and products from two of the US telco giant’s enterprise customers. The repeat orders, from the State of Nebraska and a US security firm, are worth more than $AUD205,000.
"Internet of things” player Connected IO’s relationship with US telco giant Verizon continues to pay off, resulting in a follow-up order from the American Red Cross. Connected IO will work with Verizon to provide more dependable wireless communication solutions for the Red Cross via its innovative modem like devices that are capable of connecting almost anything to the internet.
Connected IO has delivered its fourth consecutive quarter of record revenues as the Perth-listed tech company continues to reap rewards from its foray into the booming “internet of things" sector. Revenues hit a record $822,562 in the June quarter, up 45 per cent from the previous quarter and nearly 2,000 per cent higher than the same time last year.
Perth listed Connected IO has announced it will partner with major US drone company AirShip, with the ASX-listed tech player to provide its innovative wireless solutions for use in cutting edge military and commercial unmanned aerial vehicles. Connected IO says Airship drones have already been selected by military outfits around the world to provide covert services on the battlefield.
It seems that almost no market is out of bounds for “internet of things” player Connected IO and their wireless command and control technology. In what looks like proof positive that the "internet of things" market has definitely arrived, last week the company announced a major new deal in the military drone market and this week they are selling their technology to 3000 US Burger King stores.

Management said it received the order from the machine-to-machine solutions provider for 3,000 of its modem like units, worth over $700,000.

Perth listed Connected IO has secured a purchase order from electronics giant LG for the "internet of things" tech tyro's cutting-edge wireless communications devices. The company says it received the initial order from electronics giant LG, flowing from its relationship with US telco Verizon, for 140 next-gen routers to assist LG with its North American wireless requirements.
Wireless technology innovator Connected IO could be in for an unexpected bonus thanks to a surge in gold exploration activity around a project retained from its former days as a gold explorer. Connected IO’s Mission and Cables Gold project is next door to the 3Moz Darlot gold mine, now undergoing a renaissance under new ownership. Internet of things company Connected IO is partnering with leading US IT firm and cyber security company Netsurion on a line of customised wireless routers in a deal worth $1.8 million over three years. The partnership will see Connected IO design and manufacture a purpose-built family of modem-like devices for the Florida-based producer of security products, managed networks and compliance solutions.
Tech play Connected IO took in cash receipts and invoiced products this quarter to the value of $660,000 with another $650,000 in purchase orders on the books yet to be invoiced. Bottom line performance is also expected to improve with reduced U.S. overheads and renegotiated manufacturing costs expected to boost gross margins from 30% to 50% on some products.
Tech play Connected IO received combined cash receipts and accrued revenues of $998,000 in the June 2018 quarter with another $650,000 in purchase orders on the books yet to be invoiced. The company expects these results to scale up in the second half of 2018 on the back of its strategic relationships with major US customers.
