Tony Simpson new Aurex MD TONY Simpson has been appointed managing director of Aurex Consolidated Limited, which is soon to be renamed Terra Gold Mining Limited.
Tony Simpson was an Australian politician and a Liberal Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia from 2005 to 2017. He became the Member for the newly created seat of Serpentine-Jarrahdale before transferring to the seat of Darling Range.
Mr Simpson was a minister under the Barnett government from March 2013 to September 2016. He was a parliamentary secretary, government whip, Minister for Local Government, Minister for Community Services, Minister for Seniors and Volunteering, and Minister for Youth.
Prior to politics, Mr Simpson worked in the family bakery and later opened his own business in Byford. He had also spent four years as a councillor at the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.
