Tom Griffiths

Tom Griffiths was appointed director of the South West Group, a partnership between six south metropolitan councils to drive economic development in the region, in June 2018 after five years as manager, economic development, property and marketing at the City of Fremantle.

Mr Griffiths is an economic and community development professional who has prepared and delivered economic development strategies for The City of Perth and City of Fremantle, as well as numerous supplementary policies and projects to establish the vision and sustainable foundation for economic development, job creation and investment attraction for their regions.

His qualifications include a Master in Sustainable Urban and Regional Development from Murdoch University and a Bachelors degree in Business and Marketing from Curtin University.
