Base signs off-take agreement for Kwale

Base Resources has signed a key off-take agreement with Dupont Titanium Technologies for mineral sands produced from its flagship Kwale project in Kenya.
Tim Carstens, a chartered accountant by profession, has managed all aspects of business strategy development and implementation, acquisitions and divestments, debt and equity financing, organisational development and operational performance. He held senior executive roles with Perilya, North Limited, Robe River Iron Associates, Iron Ore Company of Canada, and St Barbara Mines in operations, strategy, corporate development and finance within Australia and overseas.

Base Resources has signed a key off-take agreement with Dupont Titanium Technologies for mineral sands produced from its flagship Kwale project in Kenya.
Perth-based Mineral sands miner Base Resources has launched a scrip takeover offer for ASX-listed World Titanium Resources, which owns the Toliara Sands project in Madagascar, after securing extra funds for its Kwale project.
Tim Carstens has been appointed as new chairman of Australia-Africa Minerals & Energy Group (AAMEG). Mr Carstens takes over the role from long-serving chairman and one of the organisation’s founding directors, Bill Turner.
Base Resources has announced that it will purchase a mineral sands project in Madagascar for $US75 million ($100 million) and tap investors for $100 million to fund the acquisition.
