Kairos Minerals has uncovered additional gold anomalies over more than 10km strike at its emerging Croydon gold project, located near Port Hedland in the Pilbara region WA. Encouraging new assays up to 1.2g/t gold were returned from geochemical stream sediment sampling. The company is also reviewing a development pathway for its 643,000 ounce gold resource at the Mt York project, located 100km west of Croydon.

Kairos Minerals has started its exploration field season in WA’s Pilbara region on two fronts, following up extensive surface gold anomalies previously identified at the Croydon project and investigating the gold and lithium potential of its Kangan project. At Croydon, work is underway to investigate a prospective conglomerate horizon along strike from recent gold nugget discoveries and anomalous results from geochemical sampling.

Kairos Minerals has recovered 223 gold nuggets weighing a total of 21.1 ounces that were hosted directly within a conglomerate unit, from a newly identified area at its Croydon project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. The company said the discovery is analogous to the basal gold-bearing conglomerate horizon discovered by Canadian explorer Novo Resources at the Purdy’s Reward project more than 100km to the west northwest.

Kairos Minerals has secured commitments for approximately $1.35M from sophisticated investors and will look to raise another $650K in a share placement plan to underpin exploration activities at its flagship Pilbara Gold project in WA. The funds will be used to drill out some high-grade gold targets across the project and undertake resource and mining studies. Drilling is planned to commence in November.

Kairos Minerals has defined a coherent, 2.5km long gold and copper in-soil anomaly where company Geologists also stumbled across some lucrative looking rock chip samples grading up to 16.8% copper and 4.3g/t gold at its Croydon project, located near Port Hedland in WA. The soil anomaly contains a coherent, higher-grade core that stretches over 1.5km, with best numbers going around 200ppb gold.

Kairos Minerals is off and racing with a drill rig now churning away on a 1,500m RC program at the Iron Stirrup prospect, part of its flagship Pilbara Mt York gold project in WA. Iron Stirrup has a current resource of 1.07 million tonnes grading 1.94 grams per tonne for 67,000 ounces of gold and the drilling will target high grade shoots within the deposit.

Kairos Minerals has spied visible gold amongst an extensive array of gold mineralised soil anomalies at its Fuego Prospect in the Pilbara region of W.A. It said that multiple gold-in-soil anomalies have defined an in-situ gold target at Fuego over 10km of strike that contains results above 30ppb of gold. The company will now use an EIS State Government grant of $150,000 toward its next RC and diamond drilling campaign.

The company drilled 29 wide-spaced RC holes totalling 5,586m including 20 holes for 3,815m at the greenfields Fuego prospect. Fuego falls under the Croydon project, which in turn forms part of the company’s overarching Pilbara gold projects “hub”.

Kairos Minerals is continuing to work the drill bit in the WA’s Pilbara Goldfields, with the company’s rig rolling on to the Mt York project where it will kick into development drilling. The company has designed fourteen drill holes across the Old Faithful gold deposit, with the drill rig set to smash out the program in the lead up to Christmas.

Kairos Minerals has returned a clutch of encouraging gold drill hits from a round of RC drilling at its Mount York gold project in WA’s Pilbara region. Latest drilling has unveiled new gold lodes in areas with minimal past drilling that have delivered wide and shallow intercepts including 20m at 1.58 grams per tonne gold from just 28m depth.

Kairos Minerals has identified several extensive pegmatite outcrops within a previously defined major lithium-caesium-tantalum anomaly less than 3 kilometres from Mineral Resources’ revered Wodgina lithium project. A recent soil sampling program undertaken at the project returned significant assays including 238 parts per million lithium, 293ppm caesium and 582ppm rubidium.
