Orinoco Gold was a South American gold explorer that owned 70% of the high-grade Faina Goldfields exploration (100% of the Sertão Gold mine) project in the central Brazilian state of Goiás. The project consisted of a large tenement package of approximately 200km2 that encompasses numerous exploration targets and the key Cascavel, Sertão and Tinteiro Projects.
In April 2019, Orinoco Gold entered into voluntary administration. In May 2020, the company was placed into voluntary liquidation and delisted from the ASX.
