Teck Lim is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of accounting and finance experience, specialising in mining & metals project development funding. His corporate advisory and banking experience include landmark critical minerals projects, and mega project financings in Australia and globally.
Mr Lim has worked with government agencies such as Export Credit Agency and Development Finance Institutions, multilaterals, commercial banks, private equity, mining funds and bond markets; and with strategic investors, joint venture development partners, offtakers and commodity trading houses to fund large scale mining projects.
He has also been involved from feasibility studies, contracting, ESG, due diligence, funding (including green loan), Final Investment Decision through to commercial operations.
Mr Lim became chief financial officer of rare earths producer Hastings Technology Metals in March 2023. Prior to that, he was the chief financial officer of NiCo Resources, a director leading the project & infrastructure finance advisory business of KPMG Corporate Finance, director of project & structured finance for the mining & metals sector at ING Bank in Singapore, various roles within the natural resources and commodity finance division of HSBC Bank, and Deloitte's resource industry sectors.
