Hastings Technology Metals (formerly Hastings Rare Metals and before that was Augustus Minerals) is an ASX-listed Australian rare earths company. It aims to capitalise on the strong demand for heavy rare earths created by new technologies which strive to achieve both increased power and miniaturisation. It is validating extensive historical work and undertaking further scoping studies in order to confirm economics.
The Hastings Project, located in the north of Western Australia, is 100% owned by the company. A JORC resource has been defined containing Dysprosium, Yttrium, and other rare earths, with Zirconium and Niobium. The Yangibana Project is 60% owned by the company. It is located in the west of Western Australia. Deposits containing rare earths enriched in Neodymium have been defined.
