Steven Penglis

Steven Penglis was admitted to the WA Bar in October 2012, and appointed a senior counsel in 2018. He is a barrister with Fourth Floor Chambers in Western Australia.

Mr Penglis commenced his legal practice in New South Wales in 1983. He was the senior commercial litigation partner and pro bono partner of Freehills' Perth office from 1987 to 2012.

Mr Penglis was a part-time senior member of the Administrative Appeal Tribunal for ten years, member of the Council of the Law Society of Western Australia for ten years, convenor of the Society’s Courts Committee for 15 years, and a member & chair of the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia.
