Sophie Coffin is a proud Palyku and Ngangumarta woman with ties to Yindjibarndi Country in the Pilbara region.
She was a reseach associate and principal associate to the Chief Justice at the Supreme Court, an education assistant in Geraldton where she was supporting high school students with special needs, and held roles in youth engagement at the State Government where she worked with young people and horses in the Kimberley at Yawardani Jan-ga and tutoring at the University of Western Australia.
In addition to her extensive background in research, law, education and youth engagement, Ms Coffin’s commitment to cultural security and social justice is evident in her advocacy work.
