Shelley Robertson has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and has postgraduate qualifications in petroleum engineering. She has worked extensively throughout Australia for both large and small E&P companies in both technical and management capacities.
In July 2016, Ms Robertson was appointed chief executive of Norwest Energy after serving as the company’s asset manager since joining in January 2011. She then became the executive general manager of energy at Mineral Resources from April 2019 to March 2023.
Ms Robertson was a board member of the Telethon Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre, the Guildford Grammar School P&F Committee, and president of the Guildford Arts Supporters Group.
In 2006, she was awarded an Order of Australia Bravery Medal for rescuing a man and two boys caught in a rip at Geographe Bay in 2004.
