Scott Marisett

Scott Marisett has over 25 years of practical and consulting experience in geological and mining engineering. He provides consulting and project management services in the application of specialised engineering techniques in rock mechanics, ground engineering and mine design for mineral resource extraction. Mr Marisett has been involved in engineering studies across a wide range of services, commodities, and countries. His work has also included investigations, studies, audits and reviews of mining operations in the areas of mine design, hazard identification, risk management, mine closure and value-adding opportunities for significant improvements. Mr Marisett has held the responsibilities of a project director, technical reviewer, project manager and authorised signatory, and has advanced leadership training. He has led a technical consulting team while co-leading a global technical community of over 300 professionals. Mr Marisett has also participated in external workshops and training events focusing on theoretical and practical applications of rock engineering, mining and occupational health and safety.
