Case study: Online growth for kids' art
Fine Arts graduate and art lover, Saffron Solomon, has turned her hobby into a successful online business, selling unique and affordable artworks for children.

Saffron Solomon is a marketing and communications specialist with over 20 years of experience across an array of industries including finance, insurance, design and tourism.
For over 8 years, Ms Solomon was national marketing manager for the Australian Finance Group (AFG), one of Australia’s largest mortgage broking groups, working with its 2800 mortgage brokers retain and grow the impressive market share they hold on all mortgages written throughout Australia and also assists AFG in growing its diversified business.
She studied Fine Arts at the University of Western Australia, worked as the marketing manager for FORM, and sat on a number of community-based boards. Ms Solomon is a board member of Artrage and consults on a pro-bono basis to a small number of creative businesses in Perth.
Her key competencies include strategic marketing and communications planning, corporate affairs and issues management, media management, partnership management, and business development.
