Rod Heale has over 30 years of experience in the building, construction and infrastructure industry across Australia.
Prior to becoming chief executive of Decmil in June 2022 and an executive director in August 2023, Mr Heale was the chief operating officer of John Holland’s Australia and Asia business. He had also served for over a decade as regional executive of Thiess, John Holland and CPB Contractors.
Mr Heale was a board member of John Holland, CPB Contractors and Roche Thiess Linfox Mining and Earthworks.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from Monash University, and a Master of Construction Law from The University of Melbourne. Mr Heale is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Registered Builder in Victoria and Western Australia.
