Disruption to traditional forms of travel means we all need to change our current way of thinking and develop a well-defined roadmap for a safe transition into our driverless future.
Rob Slocombe joined RAC in September 2014 as chief operating officer, and was elevated to chief executive in 2019. He moved from Sydney to Perth with his family to join RAC, and has extensive experience in financial services and banking including roles at Westpac, St George, Challenger Financial Services and AMP Bank.
Mr Slocombe holds a Master of Business and Master of Science and Technology. He also has a pilot’s licence, is a car and motorbike enthusiast, and was a volunteer for the State Emergency Service in Sydney.
