Rob McDonald

Rob McDonald, CPA and MAICD, is a principal of Tiderock Consulting which provides strategic consulting services based on a 32-year state public sector career, of which over 20 were at director level or higher in both line and central agencies, including Treasury. Previous positions included being state supply commission chief executive from 2006–2007, WA Treasury director from 2001–2006, and director of finance at WA Police from 1993–2001.

As a consultant, Mr McDonald has completed a number of public sector agency organisational reviews.

Mr McDonald was a board member of the Rottnest Island Authority, chair of The Ability Centre, non-executive director of Community First International, chair of the governing council for the North Metropolitan Health Service from 2012 to 2015 and the South Metropolitan Health Service from 2015 to 2020.
