Concept design for Middleton Beach hotel unveiled
A first look at a $30 million hotel development at Albany's Middleton Beach has been unveiled, showing a 66-suite facility and public amenities.
Rebecca Stephens has been a Labor Party Member of the WA Legislative Assembly for Albany since 2021. She is also the first female MP for Albany.
Ms Stephens is a councillor at the City of Albany and the regional manager of Worklink WA who provides training services for disengaged youth and career service advice for members of the community.
At the age of 23, in partnership with her cousin, Ms Stephens started a boutique hairdressing business in Albany that employed 10 young people. The business went on to win three WA-based awards and one Australia-wide award. She has also volunteered for several community and school boards, is an executive committee member of the Albany Chamber of Commerce, and an active member of the Albany Surf Life Saving Club for over 20 years.
