Rebecca Johnston is an experienced communications specialist in internal and external strategic communications, marketing, public relations, government relations, digital media, events management, stakeholder engagement and project management. Her diverse experience extends across multiple sectors including professional services, tourism, mining, resources, financial services, not-for-profit and hospitality.
She has been executive officer of the Gold Industry Group since setting it up in 2015. She project managed the Gold Royalties Response Group and successful Heart of Gold campaign on behalf of Western Australia’s gold miners from 2014-2015, which was recognised nationally and internationally.
Ms Johnston has been consulting for over four years and prior to that, she held leadership roles at Chevron Australia and Patersons Securities.
