Chalice Gold Mines has made some board and management changes aimed at unlocking the value of the company’s prospective gold and base metal projects and a strong balance sheet.
Rachel Rees is a senior executive and chartered accountant with extensive leadership, commercial, strategic financial and risk management, corporate governance experience in operational roles in multinational and listed corporations (ASX and TSX).
She has more than 25 years of experience across a broad range of industries including reshaping business portfolios and driving performance improvement projects. Ms Rees has been instrumental in crafting organisational transformation, assisting companies to operate effectively in a changing landscape.
Her international and Australian work experiences have provided her with a strong foundation in strategic business planning, contract negotiation, capital project management, ASX company secretarial experience, financial reporting & modelling, budgeting & forecasting, ERP system implementation, treasury, investor relations, statutory reporting M&A transactional, debt & equity fund raising, and cultural awareness.
Ms Rees holds a Bachelor of Business and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Fellow of Governance Institute of Australia, and a Fellow of Chartered Governance Institute.
