Board Moves November 8, 2021

Cygnus Gold has made several changes to its board structure with non-executive director Ray Shorrocks becoming executive chair, Michael Bohm transitioning from non-executive chair to non-executive director, and executive director Simon Jackson becoming a non-executive director.

iCollege has made changes to its board and executive team following its acquisition of RedHill Education. It has appointed Sandra Hook and William Deane as non-executive directors, Lisa Jones taking over from Stuart Usher as company secretary, and Ashish Katta will transition from an executive director to a non-executive director role. Ms Hook has held senior executive roles with some of Australia’s largest media companies and sits on several public-listed, private and government boards. Mr Deane is a founder of venture capital firm Exto Partners and a director of its investee companies. He has also co-founded several high growth technology companies and was a co-founder of RedHill.

MACA has appointed Rachel Rees as an independent non-executive director. Ms Rees is an experienced senior executive and non-executive director with expertise in business transformation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, stakeholder engagement, strategy, compliance, financial and risk management.

Steven Apedaile has taken over as chair of Sprintex following the retirement of Wayne Knight. Mr Knight guided the company through its reinstatement to the Official List of the ASX.

The Go2 People has appointed Susan Hansen, Sophie Ray and John Manning as independent non-executive directors from 22 November. Ms Hansen worked for a Big Four accounting firm and a Wall Street investment bank before establishing a financial training organisation. Ms Ray, an experienced chair and business owner, spent two decades working in diverse sectors including professional services, agriculture, manufacturing, retail, hospitality & tourism, early childhood, social and welfare support. Mr Manning held executive roles in a diverse range of industries including employment and training, operating across small to medium enterprise, private ownership, community not-for-profit and public-listed sectors, and startups.
