Peter Wasow

Peter Wasow is the senior independent director and chair of the audit committee at privately-owned professional services company, GHD Group. He was non-executive director of Alcoa of Australia, AWA Brazil, AWAC LLC , and non-executive director and chair of the audit committee of ASX-listed Alumina from 2011 to 2013. Mr Wasow has retired as managing director and chief executive of Alumina in mid-2017. He was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Adelaide-based Santos where he worked from 2002 to 2010. The Santos role followed a career of more than 20 years at BHP where he held senior positions including vice president, finance. He has also been actively involved in business and industry representative bodies.
