Andrew (Peter) Moorhouse is an exploration geologist with experience in Australia, Southern Africa and Europe. He has extensive experience within the junior uranium sector, having worked on multiple uranium projects globally including leading exploration for ASX-listed uranium explorer and developer Alligator Energy for 10 years.
Mr Moorhouse gained significant uranium exploration experience through his time at Alligator Energy in the role of exploration manager, where he assisted in advancing their flagship Alligator Rivers Uranium Project in Northern Territory and secondary uranium assets in South Australia. He has evaluated a large number of global uranium projects, and acted as a liaison with the broader capital markets for Alligator Energy and Aeon Metals. He has worked in geology for a number of resource-focused companies including BMEx, Impact Minerals (ASX: IPT), Mega Uranium (TSX:MGA) and Laramide Resources (ASX:LAM).
Mr Moorhouse became the managing director of Perth-based uranium explorer Basin Energy at the time of its IPO in 2022.
