Peter Kennan is the founder, managing partner and chief investment officer of Black Crane Capital which he established in 2009. He has 23 years of corporate finance experience across a diverse range of sectors and transactions.
Prior to establishing Black Crane Capital, Mr Kennan was head of Asian Industrials Group for UBS Asia, a corporate finance sector team covering energy, infrastructure, resources, consumer/retail and general industrial companies. He achieved number 1 team rating in Asia. Mr Kennan was also head of telecoms and media sector for UBS Australia specialising in M&A, advising on many large and complex transactions. Prior to UBS, he spent 7 years with BP in a variety of engineering and commercial roles. The Black Crane Asia Opportunities Fund, managed by Black Crane Capital, is a major shareholder of MMA Offshore, holding 10.38% of the Company. Mr Kennan joined the board of MMA Offshore in September 2017 as part of a board renewal program.
