MMA flags tough 2019
Shares in MMA Offshore have fallen today, after the marine logistics company forecast a challenging year ahead as part of its 2018 financial report, which also included a $36.3 million loss.
MMA Offshore is a global provider of marine and subsea services. The company provides solutions to support energy and offshore renewables projects, governments and coastal infrastructure.
The company charters a range of vessels, which include anchor handling and harbour tugs; barges; and multi-purpose survey, fast response crew, platform support, supply, and accommodation vessels.
The company was previously known as Mermaid Marine Australia and changed its name to MMA Offshore in December 2014.
Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, MMA has a global presence, with offices in Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Dubai and the United Kingdom.
MMA is a subsidiary of Cyan Renewables, an international maritime operator which supports the global offshore wind industry.
