PS to build new high school in Yanchep
PS Structures has won a $32.6 million contract to build the first stage of a new secondary college in Yanchep.
After 23 years in teaching, Peter Collier was elected to WA parliament in 2005 and served as Minister for Energy and Training, Minister for Training and Workforce Development, and Minister for Indigenous Affairs. In July 2012, Mr Collier took on the Education portfolio.
After the Government's re-election in March 2013, Mr Collier was appointed Minister for Education, Aboriginal Affairs, and Electoral Affairs. In addition, he was elected by his colleagues as Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council.
Mr Collier was appointed Shadow Minister for Disability Services under Liza Harvey's Shadow Cabinet in 2019. Following the 2021 WA state elections, Mr Collier became the Shadow Minister for police, corrective services, culture and the arts. He held the same portfolios within the National-Liberal Alliance, which was formed in February 2023. In February 2024, he replaced Steve Thomas as Deputy Leader of the Oppsition.
