Dr Paul Kitto has over 30 years of experience within the mining industry dealing with global equity capital markets, project finance, mergers and acquisitions. He served on several ASX boards, and held senior level management positions around the world including Australasia and Africa. Dr Kitto was the manager of Africa exploration at Gold Fields, exploration director in Russia and CIS for Sun Mining, chief executive and managing director of Ampella Mining, and technical director for Tietto Minerals. His experience spans a wide range of gold and base metal ore deposit types including meso-thermal lode gold and palaeo-placer gold deposits, porphyry copper-gold, epithermal gold, and volcanic hosted massive sulphide deposits. Dr Kitto holds a doctorate in Geochemistry and Structural Geology from the Centre for Ore Deposit Research at the University of Tasmania where he was also employed as a Research Fellow.
