Paul Brown is a mining executive with extensive operational, special projects, construction, maintenance & commercial experience, as well as mining operations and resource extraction.
With over 20 years of mining experience, including senior roles as general manager and chief executive, Mr Brown had been running extensive and complicated multiple commodity mining operations including complex supply chains, port management, detailed contract management and negotiations, strategic and operational planning, and management of a large workforce.
Prior to becoming the chief executive of Hastings Technology Metals in September 2023, Mr Brown spent over 8.5 years at Mineral Resources including as chief executive for commodities and chief executive for lithium. Prior to joining Mineral Resources, he was involved in general management, operational leadership, technical direction, project and studies management, business enhancement, mineral resource assessment, and mine strategy. Mr Brown has also successfully delivered and operated a number of significant mining projects including Solomon Hub (FMG), the Mount Marion and Wodigna lithium projects (MinRes), and the Wonmunna iron ore mine (MinRes).
