Government ‘poaching’ eggs on nursing sector
PRIVATE hospital chiefs have criticised a WA Government letter they say is aimed at “poaching” their nurses.
Dr Neale Fong has extensive experience in the management of large and complex organisations, especially in the health and human services field.
Dr Fong is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and an experienced company chair & director.
He has been with Bethesda Hospital since 2008, initially as an executive chair before becoming chief executive in January 2020. Dr Fong is also chair of Wyllie Group and the WA Country Health Service, and president of the Australasian College of Health Service Management and West Perth Football Club. He was previously a director of Curtin Health Innovation Research Institute and a Professor of Healthcare Leadership at Curtin University.
