Mona Gill provides corporate, commercial and taxation advice on various transactional matters including business and share sales/acquisitions and is involved in drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements including sale/acquisition agreements, settlement deeds, confidentiality agreements, trust deeds, company constitutions, partnership agreements and shareholder agreements.
Ms Gill completed a Masters in Taxation and regularly advises on tax and ATO regulation, and is involved in various structuring advice with a focus on ensuring efficient tax structures for transactions and businesses.
Ms Gill joined Fortescue Energy (previously Fortescue Future Industries) in March 2021 as a senior legal counsel before becoming legal manager in November 2022. Prior to that, she spent over 14 years at Lavan where she advises on financial services disclosure issues, financial services licensing and managed investment scheme regulation particularly in the areas of property development and group/trust syndications.
