Mark Webb
Mark Webb has worked in public service for more than 40 years.
He began his career in 1979, as an advisor with the then Department of Agriculture. He held several senior roles across the Kimberley and South-West. In 1998, Mr Webb joined the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority as director of living collections before being appointed chief executive in 2004. In December 2022, he retired as the director general of the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions; and finished up his chief executive roles at the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority, Rottnest Island Authority and Zoological Parks Authority.
Mr Webb sat on several national and international committees and boards, and has a long term interest in social justice.
