Talbot & Olivier takes new partner
Expanding WA law firm Talbot & Olivier has appointed Mark Hemery as a partner in the corporate and commercial litigation group.
Mark Hemery is an experienced employment lawyer acting for both employers and employees. He commenced legal practice in 1986, initially in industrial relations litigation in Perth and Melbourne where he acted exclusively for employees and unions. He specialised in this field until the early 1990s when he began practising in large-scale commercial litigation in Melbourne, rising to the position of partner at Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons). Since returning to Perth in early 2000s, Mr Hemery was a partner of two commercial law firms including Hotchkin Hanly Lawyers. He returned to employment law and has built a strong employment law practice where he acts on both the employer side (for small, medium and large businesses) and employee side (for executives, managers and other individual employees). In addition to employment law, Mr Hemery continues to practice in general commercial litigation.
