Marcus Geisler
Chief Executive / Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council
Marcus Geisler became chief executive of the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council in July 2019. He was previously chair of WA Waste Authority and held senior management positions with Coates Hire, Thiess and SITA (WA’s largest waste management company). Mr Geisler has experience in waste processing including composting organics and alternative waste treatment processes, and the recovery and marketing of secondary materials ranging from construction and demolition waste to kerbside recyclables.
