Westcott replaces Hick at Woodside
Woodside Energy has appointed Melbourne-based Liz Westcott as executive vice-president of Australian operations, replacing Fiona Hick, who joined Fortescue Metals.
Liz Westcott is an experienced energy leader, businesswoman and board member.
Ms Westcott will become executive vice president of Australian operations at Woodside Energy from June 2023. She was chief operating officer of EnergyAustralia where she had broad leadership responsibilities across sustainability, HSSE, procurement and the operations of its generation portfolio during her 4.5-year tenure. Prior to EnergyAustralia, Ms Westcott had a 25-year career at ExxonMobil where she was based in Australia, the United Kingdom and Italy, including a secondment in 2013 to Adriatic LNG as managing director. Her roles spanned strategic planning, operations, project management, as well as safety, technical and commercial leadership.
Ms Westcott holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Melbourne University, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
