Kerry Griffin is a geologist with over 27 years of experience in Australia, Africa, South/Central America, Central and Southeast Asia where he had held various senior and management positions. His experience includes corporate development, mining, mine geology, mine development and management, as well as designing and managing large scale exploration and resource drilling programs, resource modelling and estimation, management and training of geological/technical teams.
Mr Griffin has significant experience in Mongolia, having spent four years with Ivanhoe Mines as the senior development geologist for the world class Oyu Tolgoi development. He not only managed major diamond drilling programs, but also looked after geological interpretation, 3D modelling and resource estimation, and the training of the incoming Mongolian geologists. He was also technical director of Haranga Resources, country manager for Aspire Mining in Mongolia, and interim chief executive of Altan Nevada Minerals. He has been chief operating officer of Yari Minerals since May 2023.
Mr Griffin is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and the Society of Economic Geologists, is a Competent Person under JORC, and a Qualified Person for 43-101 reporting.
