Katie Hodson-Thomas has been a director of strategic communications at FTI Consulting since November 2012.
She became chair of the Road Safety Council in July 2022, is a member of the Gaming and Wagering Commission of Western Australia since 2018, and a Justice of the Peace since 1997.
Ms Hodson-Thomas had also served as a board member and advisor to multiple industry associations and government agencies including as the first female chair of the Western Australian Fishing Industry Council, and a non-executive director of the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation.
She was a member of the legislative assembly for the electorate of Carine from 1996 to 2008. Prior to entering parliament, she was general manager of the Boating Industry Association of WA.
