She held a range of senior government positions in the Department of Housing and Corrective Services including as director of community housing, before joining Rise Network in 2011. Ms Colyer has won numerous awards including 2014 WA Telstra Businesswoman of the Year for Community and Government, and an award for State Government Building of the Year (in its category) for the rebuilding of Bandyup Women’s Prison.
