John Woodacre has extensive corporate and operational experience in public companies within Australia and overseas in the capacity of general manager of organisational development and as a director of productivity and organisation design.
He also has significant experience in smelter operations having worked at WMC’s Kalgoorlie Nickel Smelter and was instrumental in improving practices at the smelter and throughout the value chain from mining to refining. Mr Woodacre was involved in the major smelter rebuild and preparation of the organisation for the shut-down and start-up phases including new organisation design and development of new practices.
He has a vast level of experience in the start-up of organisations and has worked in Indonesia, Canada, America, Laos, Africa and Australia.
Mr Woodacre holds a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management from the National Safety Council from Deakin University in South Australia, a Diploma in Business Studies from a Registered Training Organisation (TAFE) in Australia, a Graduate Certificate in Organisation Design from the Requisite Organisation Institute (Accredited by the George Washington University), and various certificates and awards within the training sector.
