Stephenson buoyed by new culture
A few months ago, respected cricket administrator John Stephenson was at home in the UK sitting on the couch, when a Seek job advertisement popped up in front of him.
John Stephenson was appointed CEO of WA Cricket on July 30, following the departure of Christina Matthews in April.
Originally from Essex, Mr Stephenson spent 17 years in a variety of roles with the Marylebone Cricket Club, based at Lords – a venue regarded as the home of cricket.
He also played one Test match for England in 1989 during his lengthy county cricket career.
