Threat to live exports
There is ongoing scrutiny and criticism regarding animal welfare in live trade exports.
John Hassell is a grain and livestock producer from Pingelly, in the central grainbelt region of Western Australia.
He held a number of executive positions with the Western Australian Farmers Federation.
Mr Hassell holds a Bachelor of Business in Agriculture from Curtin Muresk Institute of Agriculture, and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
